The station
The building housed a station linking the land and waterways. In 1984, the neoclassical building was listed on the supplementary inventory of historic monuments. Today, its primary function has changed, but the development of La Station, a place of work and innovation with a station, puts the monument’s multimodal aspect back in the spotlight and earned it the “Territoire Innovant” label in 2013. Arques marina
Situated on the banks of the wide-gauge canal, the marina is a welcoming and unique site in the Audomarois region. Ideal for your river escapades, it offers services adapted to pleasure boating, with a capacity of 50 berths for boats up to 24 meters. The public garden
Come and relax in this remarkable garden! The nature barn
The Nature Barn Located in the heart of the Audomarois marshlands, close to the Romelaëre Ponds National Nature Reserve, the Nature Barn is a unique space dedicated to the natural riches of the Pas-de-Calais department. This facility offers visitors the chance to discover the landscapes, flora and fauna of natural areas through exhibitions, events and conferences held throughout the year, as well as a fun museum area for the whole family. The National Nature Reserve des Étangs du Romelaëre
The Réserve Naturelle Nationale des Étangs du Romelaëre is home to ponds, peat bogs and wet meadows, home to a wide variety of wildlife. Abbeys of Wisques
Wisques is home to two Benedictine abbeys founded in 1889. Notre-Dame Abbey, built in Gothic style, today houses around twenty nuns. The abbey church, parlor and store are open to the public. In 2014, Saint Paul’s Abbey, first established in the Petit and then in the Grand Château, was listed and then classified as a Historic Monument. Life in these monasteries is punctuated by spirituality and work. Saint-Paul Abbey is particularly renowned for its ceramic art workshop.

Marike's garden
Always unexpected and hidden between town and marsh, its magic works once you cross the barrier. As a new feature, large flower meadows and wild flowerbeds have been designed, encompassing other different trees and shrubs. Blooms are staggered throughout the year, in palettes of color. Designed for “alternative” gardening, it sees the return of insects, small animals and useful birds, sedentary or passing through, around a pond and in the service of the apiary and orchard.
